Grilled Lamb Barbecue
Lamb is marinated with spices, herbs, lemon juice, soy sauce and honey for over 12 hours and cooked on the grill with a simple brushing mixture.
This is an easy way to make tasty lamb barbecue by using simple ingredients where the cooked meat is rich in flavour, soft, juicy and delicious.
For 2 persons.
Ingredients
For the lamb marinade
- 4 pieces of lamb steaks (can use either leg or shoulder steaks)
- 2 tablespoon garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon ginger paste
- A bunch of finely chopped thyme leaves
- 2 strands of rosemary leaves (optional)
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon powder
- 1 tablespoon gloves powder
- 2 tablespoon dark soy sauce
- 2 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
For the brushing
- 2 tablespoon honey
- 2 tablespoon dark soy sauce
- 2 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoon water
Instructions
- Wash the lamb steaks and pat dry with a kitchen towel
- Marinate the lamb with all the above ingredients and refrigerate overnight
- Heat the grill and spray some cooking oil so that the lamb do not stick to the grill
- Combine all the ingredients for brushing the lamb in a bowl and mix well
- Put the lamb steaks on the grill (180 degrees celsius)
- After 10 minutes brush the lamb steak and flip on the other side and brush
- Check the lamb regularly and keep turning and brushing the lamb until it is cooked
